Syrah Gill

Hi, my name is Syrah Gill and I am from Weston Massachusetts. My interests include reading realistic fiction, biking and let’s say everything that keeps me active. Most of my philanthropic experience is based out of India as of now. My family and I support a few charities and whenever we travel to India we make sure to visit them and help them out. All of them have touched my heart in some way or other, however I am most moved by the one that supports the blind orphaned children - When I visited this institution I was introduced to a girl my age with so much potential but handicapped due to so many reasons that cannot be described. However I think I connected with her and look forward to seeing her when I go next. From this experience and more I wish I am able to help people who are less fortunate and can bring at least a smile on their faces.
